Production Control PlannerSemiconductors - WafersKansas City, MORelocation Assistance AvailableTravel = 10%We are in search of a Production Control Planner for our client in Kansas City, MO. See the description and requirements below.Descriptionl Highlight the potential delinquent items; work with operation team to quick identify root cause; coordinate the action items and drive the results.l Support the qual/ramp production build; prepare from ramp to volume production.l Support daily customer critical parts and provide the priority list to operation team and ensure meeting the recovery schedule.l Provide monthly demand forecast; understand customer true demand to provide the variance analysis between inputs and backlog entry; productively work with customer to minimize the gap.l Effective substrate/wafer inventory control by monitoring inventory level to support production schedule, align inventory strategy to keep safety level and prevent scrap.l Drive improvement customer satisfaction by quickly identifying the problem and continued to improve the LIP performance. l Work with engineering team to support delivery by selecting alternative parts for the retest.l Drive improvement in our automation of the critical metric; analyze the information to support routine meeting (daily operation, management review).l Perform ad-hoc, what-if analysis both proactively and as requested by corporate management.Requirementsl Strong organizational and time management skills; independent prioritization is required.l Fundamental understanding of manufacturing process and business.l In-depth knowledge of ramp/qual planning, and able to support the decision of any process changes.l Must have strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.l Advance system skills including, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. l Bachelors Degreel 5+ years production control planning experiencel All candidate must have experience in wafer fabrication in the semiconductor industry to be consideredl All candidates must have 2+ years management experience
