We are a teaching and referral hospital that today provides a variety of exceptional clinical programs and services, including multi-organ transplantation, cardiology, oncology and physical rehabilitation services, maternity, neonatology and emergency/trauma care.We are seeking an experienced Director of Infection Control. Must have Bachelors, Infection Control Certification preferred. Must have experience as a Director of Infection Control with 3 to 5 years in progressively responsible experience in infection control program management in acute care and ambulatory care facilities. The Infection Control Program Director is responsible for the planning, coordination and success of the Infection Control Plan implementation. The IC plan includes surveillance, specific environmental monitoring, consultation, committee involvement, outbreak and isolation management, education, and continuous quality improvement. The IC Program Director is also responsible for the development of health system policies and procedures to support rigorous compliance with IC standards that meet JCAHO, OSHA, CDC, and public health requirements.
