Responsibilities: Provide guidance and technical assistance in the development, implementation and maintenance of the projects. Review grant applications and quarterly reports, conduct site visits and monitor project to ensure compliance (programmatic and budgetary) with grant award agreement, program guidelines, authorizing legislation and the recipient handbook. Prepare site visit reports; identify any fiscal, programmatic and administrative issues requiring appropriate action by project directors and/or agency staff or management. Prepare Corrective Action Plans in response to monitoring visits, as necessary. Complete other correspondences related to the programmatic and fiscal issues of assigned projects. 20% (E) Develop Requests-for-Proposals (RFPs) and Request-for-Applications (RFAs); develop and/or update program guidelines for new and existing grant programs; review and rate grant proposals and make recommendations to management regarding funding of projects. Provide assistance in the development and implementation of special law enforcement, prosecution, crime prevention and victim services programs. 15% (E) Identify policy and training issues related to the victim service field and assist in the development of training programs. Develop and present orientation training to new and existing projects. Assist with the development and presentation of statewide conferences/workshops and regional training seminars for Project Coordinators and staff. Conduct training for entry-level victim assistance advocates at 40-hour training seminars at least semiannually. 10% (M) Assist in preparing reports to management and the Legislature concerning Victim Witness Section programs' activities and objectives. Perform special assignments and other related duties as required, such as budget change proposals, legislative analyses, federal reports and support to advisory committees. .
