Responsibilities: This position will support engineering in a variety of areas including as operations learning is acquired: development and correction of Detailed Work Instructions, will assist mentor engineer in transfers occurring during internship, assignment to specific line area to resolve operations issues and provide solutions for corrective and preventive actions, support LEAN manufacturing actions as facility moves progress from September through end ond of fall term in December/January. Will work through BOM issues that arise on the line area that Intern is supporting. Requirements: s Junior or Senior year with GPA of 3.0 or better. CAD capability, mechanical coursework or related to operations coursework. Strongly preferred for Winter/Spring term will be mechanical skills as transfer of much more complex mechanical comes in to facility..
