These product lines are in the early stages of their lifecycle; the successful candidate will have experience with these types of offerings, experience working with and managing channel partners, and a strong desire to build a new business and manage it. Success will be measured through the financial and strategic impact of the product lines to Mitchell's overall standing in the marketplace. The Director of Product Management will directly supervise all aspects of the product line. This includes, but is not limited to all aspects of product strategy, business plan development, financial model development, product design, development of Market Requirements Documents, product marketing and sales, channel/partner management, and P&L management. Employee will have product management responsibilities for the IT Services product line. This product line currently includes reselling of hardware, reselling of Managed IT Services and IT virtualization, and management of our imaging/photo solution to the collision repair market. Essential Responsibilities: The Director of Product Management is responsible for defining and executing a strategic product plan that will enable the Repair Solutions product lines to meet or exceed it's revenue and profit growth objectives. This employee is accountable for managing all aspects of the product life-cycle: Analyzing market needs and competitive landscape Defining the strategic product plan/roadmap Writing and managing Market Requirements Documents Prioritizing product development initiatives to achieve product roadmap Managing 3rd party partner relationships Establishing product pricing strategy Developing and managing revenue and expense models and all other strategic planning initiatives Working with product marketing to design and implementing marketing/promotional programs Supporting sales channel through required product training, product literature, demo tools, sales enablement, and order fulfillment process design and management. .
