The nonprofit membership organization, headquartered in Denver, raises awareness about The Link between animal abuse and other forms of violence, as well as the benefits derived from the human-animal bond. regional office in Los Angeles is the authority behind the No Animals Were Harmed End Credit Disclaimer on TV and film productions, and office in Washington is an advocate for child and animal protection at the federal and state levels. meets the strong, comprehensive standards of the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance and has been awarded the Independent Charities of America Best in America Seal of Approval. is looking for a dedicated, self-motivated Operations Specialistfor the Animal Protection Division at headquarters in Denver, Colorado include:Continually demonstrate high integrity, openness, professionalism and transparency. Manage Animal Emergency Services and Big Truck Program operations based on the needs of the various Animal Protection Division Programs as directed by the Animal Protection Division Vice President and Animal Emergency Services Program Manager.

Requirements ::Candidate must possess a certificate of completion from an accredited tractor-trailer training institution or the equivalent combination of training and experience, and a Class A Commercial Drivers License. Three or more years of responsible experience which involved driving and maintaining a large vehicle is required. Three or more years of animal welfare/rescue first responder and/or non-profit experience desirable. This position will require extensive travel as well as irregular hours including nights and weekends. As outlined in the D.O.T. regulations section 382, candidates must pass a drug test. Candidates should demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. This position is full time and includes great benefits. We provide a casual, friendly atmosphere. The annual salary range for this position will be $45,000 to $50,000 depending on experience. Local candidates strongly preferred; no relocation assistance is available for this position.
