Responsibilities : The temporary will possess the ability to work both independently and with other members of the marketing team to coordinate the maintenance and marketing of AspenTech's website and outbound email communications. The temporary position requires the person to have strong web development and design skills, technical knowledge, online marketing skills and great attention to detail. This temporary reports to the AspenTech Webmaster.Daily management of the outbound email campaign creation process and calendar.Daily upkeep of the AspenTech website, including adding new pages, updating current pages, creating forms, posting news/articles/releases and events. Manage the features and functionality of the Content Management SystemWork with our marketing team to keep website content up-to-date and fresh as well as enhance site functionality, where appropriate.Troubleshoot technical problems with the web site, liaises as needed with Internet service provider, 3rd party application vendors, or internal networking staff supporting the web server.Work with the Webmaster to improve search engine results.

Requirements :Bachelor's degree in communication, computer science, marketing, web design and production, or a related field plus 2-4 years experience maintaining and marketing a corporate website. Advanced training and/or web certification desirable. Understanding of email marketing terminology, practices, laws, systems, etc. Demonstrated experience developing complex sites and dynamic HTMLdocuments with embedded graphics, forms, audio, video, and script objects. Prior experience implementing RSS feeds and blogs, wikis and other emerging user community-building techniques desirable.
