Responsibilities and Requirements : The Sr. Public Relations Specialist reports to the Manager of Corporate, Brand, and Executive Public Relations. This position is expected to demonstrate a senior level competency in Amway products, business, and public relations strategies. The Sr. Public Relations Specialist will: advise internal clients and affiliates; develop, implement and measure PR projects; and work with agency personnel to move projects forward day-to-day. This position will work most closely with Marketing to develop global PR programming to support our beauty/cosmetics brands. The Sr. Public Relations Specialist will also work regularly with PR counterparts globally. Amway is expanding market share globally; you will be poised to play a key role in Amway growth strategy!The successful individual will leverage their proficiency toDevelop and implement corporate media relations and PR programs generating positive and accurate coverageDevelop and implement product/consumer-focused media relations and PR programsProvide PR campaign leadership and strategic support to global company affiliatesManage communications with all stakeholders during crisis and/or other major corporate announcements, actions or eventsThe accomplished individual will possessStrong strategic and analytical skills to work through complex issues and resolve2 years of pertinent beauty/cosmetics industry experience with a global companyProven negotiation and influence skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams 5 years working in Public Relations in a major company or agency of 2 years Public Relations experience with a blue chip consumer packaged goods organizationAn outstanding professional will have:Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or related fieldMasters degree in Journalism, Communications.
