Responsibilities : Primary :Coordinate and support Verizon Global Warranty ProgramCoordinate and support Verizon Global Insurance ProgramAssist to develop transportation/compliance strategies that drive actionable behaviors across functionsAssist to administer and maintain general record keeping requirements in compliance with corporate and customs for import and export regulations.Deliver on optimization and cost improvementsAssist to develop resolutions to a variety of complex problems involving issues such as classification, assists, country of origin and marking, valuation, export screening, and License determination and technology transfers.Maintain close working relationship with local customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate filing of entriesImplement and monitor customs broker performance metricsPerform root cause analysis on operational design metric tolerances and identify improvements that lead to measurable business resultsAssist to Determine that necessary policies and processes are in place regarding the transportation program and develop, implement and provide continuous improvement to ensure optimal performance is maintainedManage day-to-day operations of the transportation program as in individual contributor through influence, collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements ::This position requires a Bachelor Degree in Business or related field plus a minimum of 1-2 years Logistics experience and proven project leadership experience required.Ability to navigate between multiple aspects of transportation and logisticsGood knowledge of supply chain integration, logistics network designs, transportation management and warehouse management best practicesCollaboration skills capable of drawing diverse groups to single focused goalsDemonstrated ability to understand and apply problem solving methods, statistical techniques and performance metrics and translate these metrics into financial savings into time and operational efficiencyStrong verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and team facilitation skills.Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced customer-centric environment.
