Responsibilities : Essential Functions and include the following: -Lead efforts to identify clinical education opportunities, disease complications and other metrics which can be measured and tracked and whose impact will result in measurable cost savings and improved quality of life for members enrolled in our disease management programs. -Work closely with the Accordant leadership team to support and retain existing clients as well as gain additional new business by providing analytic insight related to the disease management programs. -Work closely with the Accordant clinical leadership team to ensure the most up to date clinical metrics are being utilized and measured. -Ensure the ongoing measurement and tracking of key clinical metrics. -Create internal visibility around key metrics as a means of optimizing impact. -Effectively communicate outcomes and analytic findings to internal and external customers. -Manage development of a clinical data mart used to evaluate outcomes. -Manage process of updating core reference tables and patient identification algorithms.

Requirements :Lead a staff of approximately 10-15 analysts and sr analysts.EducationAdvanced degree in Actuarial Science with FSA designation, Epidemiology, Biostatistics or HealthCare Administration required. MD or PhD degrees preferred.Experience·Ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of progressive experience in clinical outcomes measurement specific to Disease Management and extensive experience analyzing medical and prescription claims and survey data. ·Hands-on manager able to absorb workload of team when necessary and must be able to demonstrate previous success championing projects involving clinical metrics measurement. ·Will possess the ability to oversee daily activities as well as major projects and creating new strategies. ·Previous experience working in a health plan, clinical research or other related health care entity preferred.
