Responsibilities : This role is responsible for the development efforts of adding new clients to the Engagement & Events portfolio. This role will interact very closely with all client service verticals and other functional and delivery areas of . This role requires a high degree of business acumen, extensive problem solving skills, good sales and closing skills, and strong client relationship skills.o Define client specific solutions aimed to address and solve the client business objectives leveraging expertise and package the solution to win in the marketplace. Gain extensive knowledge of all Meetings and Events products, services and solutions and a working knowledge of all of products, services and solutions. Creatively structure, price and package solutions that win in competitive situations and can be delivered effectively, efficiently, and profitably.o Achieve sales goals (both Gross Profit and Marketing Income) through sales strategy, proposal/presentation development, client satisfaction and client retention. Increase client proposal and meeting activity within assigned target prospect portfolio. Build and grow relationships with senior level clients within new business opportunities as well as established clients where there is new business opportunity. Develop account plans and pursuit strategies against targeted key accounts and new accounts. Lead pitch and proposal development efforts in conjunction with brand planning and business planning teams as well as other functional areas (Creative, Decision Sciences, etc) Monitor pipeline, opportunity management and sales forecasting. Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery.

Requirements : BA/BS degree required; MBA preferredo 3-5 years business development experienceo Strong business & financial acumeno Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships across organizationso 10 years in a sales, business development or strategic role in the Meeting and Event industryo Flexibility to travel as needed.
