Responsibilities : As a Bakeryou will work to prepare and bake high quality goods that are consistent with Whole Foods Market quality standards. You will supports the Bakery Team Leader and Regional Coordinator in maintaining regional standards. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members

Requirements ::Make sure the customers are being taken care of and the store looks great at all times. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delightful service.Unload and put away bakery ingredients and products.Measure, mix and prepare raw materials according to company specifications and recipes.Learn to use all Bakery processing equipment.Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the preparation and holding areas.Form, cut, mold, and shape dough.Monitor cooking completion times and set heat and humidity temperatures for proof box.Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.Operate and sanitize all Bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner.Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Bakery Team Member.Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader (Department Manager), Associate Team Leader (Assistant Department Manager), or Supervisor.Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.Demonstrate basic reading skill sufficient to read and understand recipes and information about ingredients.Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other Team Members and leadership.Ability to understand and complete departmental transfers.Willingness to learn and grow with the Bakery team.Ability to perform physical requirements of position.Ability to operate all necessary equipment.Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.Stand and walk for extended periods of time.Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds, unassisted and able to push and pull carts with product weighing up to 100 pounds.Use of box cutters.
