The Manager II, Quality Engineering will be responsible for the Quality Engineering Product Support group for Baxter's Medication Delivery/Access business unit. You will provides strategic direction, ensure compliance to regulations and Baxter Quality Systems, and provide guidance for design changes to existing products. Manage the activities and interfaces of the Quality Engineering department with responsibility for results in terms of product quality, performance and safety.Implement Quality Systems procedures and manage compliance in Access business unit.Develop effective working relationships with functional groups and customers.Lead Quality Initiatives and identify and manage continuous improvement projects with the objective of achieving quality, reliability and cost improvements.Develop Quality Engineering function capable of providing guidance and tools for problem solving using appropriate tools (Six Sigma, SPC, DMAIC).Identify, implement, and report Quality Metrics for area of responsibility.Develop budget for department and ensure adherence to the budget.Responsible for the coaching, training, development, and performance of subordinates. Thorough knowledge of standards and regulations for medical devices. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Demonstrated ability to manage/supervise a team of technical employees.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.Strong drive to achieve results and meet commitments.Demonstrated success at consistently achieving business and quality objectives.

Requirements :BS in science or engineering, MBA helpful. 7 years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or related field which should include 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Some practical engineering experience is a must.
