Patient Financial Services Rep - (US-FL-Sunrise - 33355) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities : Job DescriptionCallCenterHealthcare Patient Service RepresentativeJob Summary:The Call Center Healthcare Patient Service Representative is primarily responsible for the answering of inbound phone calls as well as ensuring that all patient inquiries are addressed in an efficient and professional manner.Candidates must be bi-lingual (Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish)Essential :Ensure that all patients receive a level of service that exceeds their expectations through inbound and outbound communication.Respond and resolve questions and problems from patients, or their legal representatives, and other appropriate parties.Document and attempt resolution of all patient inquiries, complaints and grievances in appropriate system(s) and either handle, redirect, or defer to the appropriate department according to hospital procedures.Making outbound return calls regarding: patient inquiries, patient complaints, billing questions, setting up payment plans, resolving balance discrepancies, and assisting patients on any issues they might encounter.Reviewing, deciphering and responding to correspondence from patients, or their legal representatives, and other appropriate parties.The handling and disposition of return mail, updating the system(s) with new address and phone number as required.Update patient eligibility or status on appropriate system(s).Participate as team player by demonstrating support to peers, management, and the department goals. Attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
