Responsibilities : This position will work with an assigned director to define system scopes and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.During the requirements phase of each project, the Product Analyst will coordinate and meet with clients and business leaders, as well as working closely with software architects and development teams to ensure that the direction, scope and dependencies are identified and documented include identifying, documenting business requirements and processes.Collects information to support department initiatives.This position will also be responsible in assisting with validation and testing of delivered software with the client, and actively participating in client training as well as assisting with support.The Product Analyst may be responsible for the translation of the business requirements into concise system requirements for use by the software architects and development teams.Product Analyst assists in system manuals and trainings curriculums development for newly designed software components.

Requirements :Ability to learn and understand existing business processes.Strong technical, non-technical, spoken, and written communication skillsExpert analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent presentation skillsAbility to work independently with minimal direction, and as a team playerDedication to meeting the requirements and expectations of internal and external customerDesire to stay abreast of technical developments in the fieldStrong attention to detail and follow-throughHighly organized and detail oriented.Required ExperienceMinimally qualified applicants will have a four-year degree in Biology, Medical Technology, Genetics, or Business preferably with a Computer Science concentration. Well-qualified candidates will have a master degree in Business Administration. ASCLS or ASCP certification in Cytogenetics or Medical Technology is a plus. The candidate will have experience in multiple domains such as laboratory, cytogenetics, molecular, or flow cytometry. Prior experience in genetic laboratories preferred with proficiency in basic genetic theory and laboratory practice, specimen preparation, cell culture and harvesting, and chromosome analysis.
