Responsibilities : Job SummaryThis position will head a Corporate Markets Team for Management Liability Lines. There will be responsibilities for North Central and South Central Regions, with a primary focus on South Central. Management Liabilities lines for all public companies, large private and non-profit companies for D&O, Fiduciary, Employment Practices and Crime. The position is both managerial and production oriented. Relationships with major brokers, regional brokers and wholesalers will be key in continuiation of growth of this book. Travel outside the local Chicago area 1-2 times per month, with overall travel between 25-30% per year.J

Requirements :Bachelors Degree and/or 7 or more years of underwriting experience for public companies in D&O, EPL Fiduciary and Crime Business areas.1. Advanced knowledge of line/s of business.2. Ability to manage and build rapport with team.3. Excellent organizational, written, oral communication and presentation skills.4. Must have an advanced knowledge of the insurance industry and the legal and regulatory guidelines.5. Six months to one year of supervisory or management experience preferred.6. PC literate.7. Must have established Producer relationships.8. Excellent negotiating skills.
