Watts Constructors has completed projects for numerous State and Federal agencies, including the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, and the National Park Service, in addition to selected private companies.Essential Duties:The SeniorElectrical Estimatorwill be responsible for all preconstruction cost control functions for construction projects including complete estimates, value analysis, comparisons, assisting with feasibility studies, and historical cost reports. The Senior Electrical Estimatormust be capable of performing cost control functions on multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.

Requirements :This position requires excellent conceptual estimating skills and the ability to identify items required for complete systems, even if not delineated on construction documents.  The ability to mentally schedule and construct a building from drawings is essential.  A qualified candidate will be able to compare and analyze various systems and related cost impacts, as well as solid leadership skills.  Excellent computer skills are important, as is the ability to quickly learn, articulate, and apply new applications as the industry grows and changes.  Because this position requires a significant amount of communication with owners, architects, designers, and project managers, good communication and interpersonal skills are important.  Organization, quick creative thinking, and the ability to balance and prioritize projects with impending deadlines are also needed.Required ExperienceTo perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each previously stated duty satisfactorily.
