Responsibilities : Success in this role will depend on the self-starter that takes ownership of the role; driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance Dell's ability to articulate the core value of these focus categories.   ·   Manage the business plan and go-to market category strategy which includes·Developing the business plan and strategy for the Digital Signage and Video Conferencing categories·Responsibility for implementation and execution of the business plan and strategy·Develop and execute sales and marketing programs to accelerate revenue growth for Dell's Commercial TV and Video Conferencing opportunities·Training - utilize product and solution knowledge, to train sales on commercial TV's, Video Conferencing equipment,  accessories, and digital signage content software·Define Category tactics & rollout plans for each segment·Manage product launches to ensure sales force readiness, accurate forecast and product transitions in the segments·    Maximizing the P&L for the projector category including units, revenue and margin·Large Deal Engagement - must be willing to support in a technical/ sales capacity to help close large signage opportunities·Track, measure and report on business metrics to executive management·Sales Engagement - Ensure up-to-date product info is available to sales force via internal sales tools. 

Requirements :Cross-functional leadership, customer focus, strategic agility, drives for results & ability to exercise independent judgment. .   ·Ability to manage complex strategic initiatives and projects, while able to balance tactical needs of sales force and engage on end-user opportunities ·Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.  Experience/familiarity with Digital Signage, Video Conferencing,  PC products, displays, and interconnects a strong plus·Understanding of a B2B/Commercial business, with knowledge specific to Dell a plus·Understanding of financial P&L·Strong communication skills required - ability to communicate upward and cross-functionally within an organization and articulate technical concepts to less technical audience·8-10 years relevant sales/technical sales experience, customer-facing or field sales experience a plus. College degree a requirement, advanced degree in related field a plus.
