Responsibilities : Develops, implements, and evaluates a variety of wellness programs. Assists clients in setting and achieving health, fitness, and wellness goals. Provides technical and instructional assistance to wellness program participants, including but not limited to, weight management, fitness programs, blood chemistry, safety, and stress management. This is a part-time positionDevelops, implements, and evaluates a variety of wellness programs. Requirements :Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Nutrition of Exercise Science, or related field preferred. Will substitute years of practical experience for comparable years of education. Four years of counseling experience related to fitness and wellness.  Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted, in such areas as, exercise physiology, registered dietitian, registered nurse, nurse practitioners, physician assistant, and clinical psychologist. Must be familiar with the ability to work under the guidelines of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society. ACE Certified Group Exercise Instructor experience preferred.Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, Nutrition of Exercise Science, or related field preferred.
