Responsibilities : Manufacturing Engineer IIs assist in the deployment of lean methods under the direction of the team Unit Manager to streamline manufacturing operations. They charter kaizen events that are designed to achieve improvement targets, and form the teams necessary to achieve goals.  They train, lead and facilitate events and track kaizen improvements to charter targets. They support non-kaizen lean activities and on-going initiatives to maintain lean controls and improve team performance. They assist with manufacturing engineering functions such as documentation, studies, production improvement, tooling and fixture procurement, cost savings analysis, process changes, and operator training.  Manufacturing engineering functions include implementation of process modifications, capacity analysis and determination of process flow, and coordination of new equipment installations.

Requirements :The Manufacturing Engineer II will apply knowledge of production floor troubleshooting using process analysis; ERP tools; material processing; and train manufacturing operators.Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing  or Quality Engineer.
