Responsibilities: Performs a variety of tasks including daily cleaning of ranges, kettles, carts, pots, and food service unit. Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the cook or assists in tray service. This position differs from the Dishwasher position in that the person(s) in this position must be proficient and interchangeable on the grill, cashiering and food prep as well as all other duties assigned to the Dishwasher. Formal courses in food production, preferred. A bility to carry out instructions furnished in written,or oral form. Ability to read and interpret quantity recipes. Ability to write simple messages. Minimum speaking ability - ability to speak the English language. Three (3) to five (5) years current experience in a volume production operation with emphasis on quality, and creativity are required. Food Handler's Permit required. Atmosphere may be warm and humid; must be able to work around sudden temperature changes when entering refrigerated areas or working around steam-heated equipment and service counters. .
