ResponsibilitiesJava development on new web projects and then maintenance of web site for production/support and troubleshooting skills.Technical design of new web features.Occasionally providing assistance to the other Java developers.Communicating with the client, other team members, project manager & management.Supporting the project manager with effort estimations, status reporting, and project planning. Requirements/Skills5 years of strong technical skills with extensive hands-on experience in ALL of the following: J2EE on Websphere 6+, RAD, Struts 1.2 (Struts 2.0 is a plus), Spring 2.x, Hibernate 3.x and Subversion.1 year experience in developing customer facing (B2C) Internet web applications is a must.Experience on Linux/Unix operating systems is a plus.Experience in Test driven development is a plus.Software Development Methodology (RUP, Agile) good analytical and debugging skills; systematic approach to programming tasks.Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multi-task and collaborate on team efforts. Education/ExperienceBS degree in Computer Science/Related fieldPreferred certified Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and Sun Certified Web Component Developer.Highly motivated, self-starter, willing to mentor.Embraces change, ability to adopt, quick thinker.Team Player who can work independently and direct others.
