Responsibilities and Requirements : General Assignment Reporter Location:WI - Menomonie Job Type:News Division:Dunn County News Status:Regular Description:The Dunn County News, an award-winning twice-weekly newspaper in Menomonie, WI, seeks a full-time general assignment reporter to cover local cops, courts beat and government meetings, as well as writing feature stories. The ideal candidate will have a desire to be part of community journalism, with an emphasis on storytelling and knowledge of and the ability to write sports stories. The position involves several aspects of the newspaper business, from writing stories and features to photography and page design. The job involves some evening and occasional weekend hours. Knowledge of Quark and Adobe Photoshop is also sought. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train a recent journalism school graduate with drive and talent.
