Responsibilities : Performs fraud surveillance audits on multiple lines of business, utilizing the internal reports and outside vendor systems available. Associate must be capable of examining the loan documentation, analyzing the credit scenarios to determining if they meet bank policy and product guidelines. Provides feedback through reports to management and branch personnel regarding findings. Takes initiative in resolving problems on a branch level. Applies understanding of legal, regulatory, economic, and technological developments to reduce the banks exposure to mortgage fraud.General Description: Examines residential loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with appropriate company and secondary market investor standards. Evaluates credit decisions for accuracy based upon established risk parameters and in accordance with policy, program, and product guidelines. Provides feedback to business partners as appropriate. may include examination of several different types of lending (conventional, government-backed, home equity, etc.). Responds to company, individual, and investor audits. Assists with fraud detection and prevention. May recommend modifications to quality assurance, underwriting, loan processing, servicing, or fraud prevention procedures. Provides training and direction to more junior staff. Generally has 5 years of experience in residential loan underwriting or processing and/or 3 or more years of experience as a quality assurance analyst.

Requirements :Successful Applicant will have 5 or more years of Production Underwriting/Processing Experience as well as 3 or more years of Quality Assurance ExperienceExperience with multiple channels and a variety of loan typesCritical thinking skills, strong time management skills and an ability to communicate well in written form is required.
