Responsibilities : Responsible for the supervision of the receiving and inventory clerks recycling staff and warehouse employees.Responsible for the issuing, receiving and proper storage of all products and inventory.To maintain low product cost, must use bids for current pricing, quality and quantities.Maintain par levels of staple inventory and order products according to need during shows.Review sales orders for product and ordering information.Prepare purchase orders and get approval for all incoming product.Record all purchases from invoices to material maintenance software, get invoices approved and then deliver to accounting department.Constant contact with Chef, Sales Department and Operations regarding purchases for all events.Inform respective directors as to changes in market conditions, prices, products in season, etc.Directly responsible for counting and insuring correct cost attribution on all products in F&B inventory, including pre-show and month-end inventories.Manage Union and Non-Union employees as applicable in Kitchen, Recycling Areas and Warehouse. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws. include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.Establish and enforce company and industry sanitation and safety standards.

Requirements : Two years college degree.Previous Food and Beverage Managerial experience.MS Word, MS Excel, POS ProficientAbility to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysPossess good written and verbal communications skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and proceduremanuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to calculate skills and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
