Responsibilities : As a member of the Covance Learning & Performance Center, the Instructional Designer works in independently and in concert with subject matter experts and other members of the Learning & Performance Center to design and develop courses, curricula, and other learning solutions of various size, scope, and complexity. Additional responsibilities include determining the proper delivery method for training and evaluating the effectiveness of training by developing and implementing post-instruction evaluation tools and criteria. Duties and : Validates stakeholder learning needs Uses knowledge of adult learning theory and instruction design methodologies to create learning objectives, determine instructional strategies to best teach learning objectives, and create assessment items Coordinate with internal and external subject matter experts to obtain required job and task information Research, write, and edit content for instructor guides, participant guides, quick reference guides, job aids, assessments, etc. Will use creativity in transforming the content into professionally designed, engaging, and effective learning and development solutions Develops pilot plans, conduct pilots, and revise materials as necessary Stewards the design throughout the project lifecycle to ensure instructional integrity.

Requirements :BS/BA degree Instructional design education/certification is preferred Experience with multiple forms of design (classroom, e-learning, self-paced, etc)Experience- 3-5 years instructional design experience - Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred - 3 years experience in learning and development.
