Responsibilities and Requirements : Business Leader, Counsel - Privacy Compliance and GovernanceDuties: Establishment of governance structure to ensure compliance with Privacy & Data Protection laws on a global basis. Develop privacy policies and program guidelines to address the privacy requirements of all business initiatives utilizing personally identifiable, sensitive and/or confidential transaction data. Work with Business leaders to identify regulatory requirements of new lines of business. Assist in the establishment of a Privacy and Data Usage Education program. Establish Employee Privacy program. Assist with ongoing privacy compliance efforts including annual regulatory examinations. Identify enterprise programs that may change regulatory profile and/or increase privacy compliance requirements. Develop a governance structure to ensure active and timely engagement by privacy and data usage team with business development activities to ensure compliance with domestic and international privacy and data protection laws. Develop a programmatic approach to identifying on-going changes to regulatory requirements resulting from either evolving legislation and/or business expansion activities. Develop global privacy and data usage policy and requisite review process. Ensure policy is updated based on evolving legislation and/or business expansion activities. Create Privacy and Data Usage guidelines to address new company's initiatives that intend to collect, store, analyze, manage, and transfer personally identifiable data.
