Responsibilities : As a Business Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with clients, sales, service, development, quality assurance, and support to:Elicit business requirements and critically evaluate information to deliver new and innovative solutions that satisfy the client's strategic goalsProactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze functional requirements, distinguishing user requests from the underlying business needsWork with User Interface developers to design and create functional prototypesCollaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needsCoordinate and conduct client acceptance testingHandle the implementation of new solutions to productionCarry out effective problem determination and resolution to all IT issues reported to help-desk.Maintain all relevant support systems, services, records, equipment and documentation.Recognize and interpret error messages from the network, software, hardware or any application programs.Create and help maintain a database of IS technical resources.Assisting in user acceptance testing of any new software, hardware installations or changes to network architecture.Perform those tasks associated with the operation and control of the newly installed hardware, software and telecommunications base

Requirements :A BA or BS Degree2-4 years minimum experience in Business Systems AnalysisA solid understanding of the software development life cycleExpertise in capturing and defining Business Expertise in developing Functional SpecificationsExpertise in testing against Functional SpecificationsThe ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective verbal and written communication skillsDesired SkillsProfessional experience with any of the following are a plus:The insurance industry, especially Risk Management or Claims Administration processesDocumenting software requirements with formal use casesEnterprise Content Management solutions.
