Candidates' experience should be evaluated on the basis of duties performed rather than strictly on the rank of the individual. The applicant's record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of the position.After an applicant is selected for this position, and prior to being appointed in the position, he/she must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following Experience, training, and/or education which demonstrates judgment, analytical ability, and skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships.
Requirements :Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of the listed below. Written response to each will ensure that specialized experience criteria is recognized and credited.Knowledge of logistics management principles, organizational theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation.Knowledge of the organization and functions of areas involved in providing logistical support.Skill in integrating the action of two or more specialized support activities for the purposes of meeting program goals.Skill in working with persons at various levels and backgrounds.:This position is located within a National Guard aircraft logistics organization. Serves as a consultant and authority to the Logistics Chief. Reviews all mobility, contingency, Emergency War and exercise plans affecting logistics and evaluates requirements in relation to capabilities and tasking. Writes and edits local instructions concerning the position area of responsibility. Meets with the logistics chief, staff members, and supervisors to inform of requirements, tasking and changes as they occur, and advises personnel of their responsibilities. Formulates the annual logistics operating budgets for the logistics division for inclusion in the base financial plan. Performs other duties as assigned.
