Responsibilities and Requirements : Provides rehabilitative, biomechanical and/or neurodevelopmental therapy to patients for the purpose of increasing self-care skills and prevention of secondary disability or deformity. Instructs in functional transfer training, adaptive equipment recommendations and construction, splinting and therapeutic techniques for increasing function with activities of daily living. A. Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. B. Work Experience: Three to six months of Occupational Therapy experience. C. Certification, Licensure, Registration: Certification by A.O.T.A. Michigan registration required.
