Responsibilities : This vacancy is being advertised in the locations of Ft. Richardson and Anchorage. Richardson, approximately 6 miles north of the center of Anchorage.Do you enjoy a dynamic work environment with challenging and diverse duties.If so, we have a position open that may interest you!!!We are seeking an individual with a high level of initiative, independence and good interpersonal skills to supervise the Anchorage/Ft. Richardson accounts payable and travel section for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:Supervisory duties include overseeing the daily operations of the Ft. Richardson accounts payable and travel sections to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions. Provide staff training on accounting processes, policies and procedures Administration and management of the One Card Alaska and State Travel Office programs within the department Coordinates analysis with Department managers and makes recommendations on appropriate or necessary accounting actions
