Responsibilities : Duties:The Director of Corporate Communicationsis a multi-functional role to support both the communication needs of the diagnostics business and support internal / external communications by / for Novartis Diagnostics. In support of the diagnostics business strategy, responsibilities include: Manage business communications with key stakeholders, including external media. Provide measurable, on-going and positive contribution to the business environment through a clear, comprehensive communication strategy. Offer direct input on all strategic brand communications and media planning. Ensure adequate and appropriate internal and external communications in support of site operations. Oversee the reputation of the company within the global community and serve as (Novartis Emergency Management) communicator for the site. Oversee diagnostics marketing communications, including diagnostic marketing materials, website, promotional literature and overall brand strategy. Develop and implement communications strategy specific to the business for internal and external communications, including media relations, employee communications and electronic media communications. Provide strategic communications counsel to diagnostics business head. Create and lead implementation of a media relations strategy for diagnostics business. Develop strategies for, and manage communications for the business, and provide communications counsel in emergency and crisis situations.

Requirements :Bachelor degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field, and a minimum 7-10 years of healthcare/pharma PR experience; understanding of diagnostics market desirable. Ability for strategic thinking and planning. Media relations experience. Understanding of regulatory and scientific aspects of the diagnostics business. Creative self- starter with the ability to drive a high volume of work to completion. Team-oriented working style. Flexible and open to change and challenges. Experience managing PR agencies. Highly responsive; ethical. Education Bachelors Experience 8-15 Years.
