Responsibilities : Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships and developing new clients.Develops market and business development strategies for existing and new services to existing and new US Government clients.Coordinates with other Business Development Managers across the business unitto enhance sales performance. to utilize various databases to record sales contacts and opportunities and to obtain and retain project and company information for inclusion in marketing and proposal products.

Requirements :Has a thorough knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and extensive knowledge of Federal procurement practices.Must have a thorough knowledge of business development process (identification, qualification, capture and bid activities).Has an in-depth understanding and proven experience with US Government clients in design/build and/or construction projects.Demonstrated collaborative team leadership and team building characteristics.He or she is a player/coach who can empower a team with a vision for success and have the ability to delegate responsibilities to the appropriate team members.Having served in one of the military services in engineering, design, or construction support role is a plus.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel and WordUsually has a technical degree and a total of 12 years of experience that include8 years of industry experience, along with 4 years of experience in business development with the Federal GovernmentTravel is required.
