Our engineers and technologists work in partnership with our customers to develop innovative technology solutions for the challenges of national defense, homeland security, and information access.Our core capabilities are in three areas:Systems Engineering and Technical SupportInformation Technology ServicesTechnology DevelopmentThe Business Systems Analyst will:Administer access to CostPointProvide technical support for all CostPoint related issues, including training the CostPoint user community to ensure the efficient and effective use of the systemInteract with technical support team and vendors to schedule upgrades, modifications and required maintenanceDevelop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Costpoint systemWork with the Infrastructure team to design, implement, and periodically test the Costpoint backup and recovery proceduresAnalyze current and projected future Costpoint performance requirements; fine-tune or recommend equipment changes when necessaryMaintain knowledge of technology developments through training courses, seminars, and publications.

Requirements :This position requires strong technical background and in-depth knowledge of delivering complex solutions using industry best practices and methods.5 years experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS)Demonstrated 2 years experience administering SQL server or Oracle databasesDemonstrated 2 years experience administering Deltek CostpointThorough understanding of data modeling, MS SQL Server and ODBCKnowledge of business processes and their inter-relationships is highly desirable.Must be able to communicate effectively with various types of customers, employees, managers, and vendors to identify and resolve IT related issuesAbility to work effectively in a fast paced changing environment - multi-tasking, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines in a timely mannerAbility to solve problems quickly and completelyBachelors degree in computer science or technology discipline (6 years experience may be substituted for a degree).All candidates will be subject to a Background Investigation. US citizenship is required.
