THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
To effectively coordinate media planning efforts for clients related to interactive and digital campaigns. The Digital Media Planner should effectively coordinate between the Digital Media Supervisor, the account team and the Digital Media Director (as applicable). Frequently, the Digital Media Planner will help present media plans to clients and field questions and support the agencies position.
- Evaluation process with digital / interactive team and ensuring that the package is efficient before client presentation
- Helping prepare and present plans to clients to gain approvals
- Maintaining all activity, including requesting and presenting added value and regular status reports (i.e. positioning and post reports on media and added value when applicable) in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue media POV's to A.E.
- Coordinate projects and media requests with A.E.; pass on deadlines to MS and Planner(s)
- Prepare qualitative research analysis as required using syndicated research sources
- Plan, organize, implement and control the day-to-day digital media planning process.
- Coordinate with the buyers and account teams on various areas: marketplace conditions, competitive, digital media opportunities, promotional opportunities invoice approval/ billing.
- Issue insertion orders from BAP for all print/OOH/internet planned for each mkt.
- The Digital Media Planner works directly with the Digital Media Supervisor for all POVs which will result in significant changes in digital media strategy approved in annual planning process.
- Present plans to client with MS and account team.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent, relevant experience.
- 2-5 years experience as a Media Planner in an advertising agency with a focus on digital media plans.
