Responsibilities : Provides management and oversight of the Healthcare Training component of the Center for Domestic Preparedness training offered at the Noble Training Facility (NTF formerly the Noble Army Hospital). Develops strategic plans for the NTF and contributes to the strategic plan of the organization. Ultimately responsible for direct reports who: -Reviews instructor qualification rosters and initiates communication with NTF course managers regarding changes as indicated -Communicates with Centralized Scheduling as needed to resolve conflicts related to instructor assignment -Supports and directs cross training of instructional staff to maximize instructor resources and the overall training experience for student responders -Counsels assigned employees/consultants periodically as indicated and necessary -Provides written documentation of the issues and recommended action for personnel file -Supports Employee Recognition Program by formulating recommendations for instructional and support teams quarterly awards and encouraging spot award recommendations from course managers -Mentors new course managers/assistant course managers -Ensures that all assigned employees are provided with professional development opportunities consistent with the individual needs as well as those of the organization -Plans and conducts weekly course manager meetings to ensure timely communication and resolution of issues within the NTF operations -Conducts visitor tours as required

Requirements : Appropriate degree (s) for registered nurse, nurse practitioner, medical doctor or other medical disciplines and extensive (10 ) years related experience, including 5 years of administration/management/supervisory experience is required. Possess teaching certification/teaching degree strongly preferred. Ten years experience in area providing knowledge of healthcare or emergency medical response occupation in a hospital environment. Working knowledge of or familiar with the coordination of field concepts, practices, exercises and standard operating procedures as it relates to emergency incident response(s)involving all response disciplines, hospital and public health officials. Professional certification in area of practice.
