Responsibilities : OverviewThe Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration, software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. The Group's primary focus is at the operating force level and military buying commands.Our core competencies include:Enterprise IT ServicesLogistics Solutions/Life-Cycle SupportProgrammatic ServicesSecurity SolutionsSoftware Development & IntegrationSystems Engineering & IntegrationTest & EvaluationTraining SolutionsThe Senior Research Specialist (Technical Subject Matter Expert) plans and performs warfare intelligence analysis on new and varied problems where only general objectives are stated. Individuals act as internal experts responsible for coordinating broad phases of projects and for performing advanced development work. Intelligence analysis efforts are planned in coordination with related activities of other projects and departments. Develops and applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques to situations requiring the expert application of advanced knowledge (e.g. complex problem solving, complex reports and/or technical papers, articles and patent disclosures). Investigates and advises management on the feasibility of new projects, systems or approaches. The Senior Research Speciast provides analysis of all-source data in a multi-intelligence domain to produce executive-level defense reports relevant on a national or global level. Serves as subject matter expert in the intelligence analysis field supporting a DOD customer.

Requirements :Must have Secret clearance (TS/SCI within last two years is preferred). Part of the QinetiQ North America experience includes a focus on work/life satisfaction.
