Under the direction of the District Service Coordinator, and in accordance with the corporate policy and standard operating procedures, concentrates efforts on administrative and customer satisfaction aspects of depot operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• This person is the primary point of contact at the depot to handle customer complaints, issues, etc.
• Informs contracted carrier of customer complaints on their respective routes on a daily basis. Follows up with contracted carrier to make sure the replacement copies are delivered at the customers’ request.
• Reacts in a positive manner when dealing with customer or vendor. Able to effectively communicate escalated customer or vendor issues to the District Service Coordinator in a timely manner.
• Learn layout of all routes serviced from the depot.
• Operates various office equipment such as computer, fax, telephone
• Able to meet deadlines.
• Able to meet attendance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Regard “excellence in customer service” as main priority.
EDUCATION
• High School diploma or equivalency required.
EXPERIENCE
• At least 6 months experience using office equipment, computer (Microsoft Office) and fax machine.
• Newspaper delivery experience preferred.
