Job decscription



Business Analyst working within the Global Loans IT team, acting as a liaison between the business users and the development staff. Responsibilities include:

• Provide Loan IQ product and technical analysis support. This role is a backfill for the current Loan IQ SME/BA who must move over to another project full time.

• Liaise with customers across PC / FA and other IT groups to gather and validate functional requirements for European and Asian changes to Loan IQ resulting from changes to the firms accounting standards.

• Coordinate requirements analysis with business analyst partners in the Americas to ensure that European/Asian requirements are consistent with a global solution.

• Analyze impact of accounting methodology on front-to-back systems flows and architecture, including identifying existing feeds / processes that may need to be extended to support requirements.

• Take ownership and manage multiple concurrent tasks/projects, and bring to a successful completion, despite challenges and obstacles.

• Gather business requirements and create detailed Functional Specifications.


• Work closely with development team to ensure requirements/functional specs are fully understood, and to create the technical design specifications.

• Participate in QA testing for IT deliverables prior to User Acceptance Testing.
• Assist users in setting up/executing User Acceptance Testing.
• Ensure projects are SDLC+ compliant.

NOTE: Year long role as part of larger initiative which is a key deliverable globally.

Qualifications:
• Experienced BA role working directly with internal clients.
• Loan IQ specific knowledge id REQUIRED.
• Financial Systems experience necessary.
• Investment banking industry experience critical.
• Contractor role, but must be able to interface across numerous IT and business groups, especially Product Control and Financial teams.
