Heres a little information about our client:1. We have never charged a family for the services we serve so no one is ever discharged for inability to pay or insurance has run out.2. We offer a multidisciplinary environment where PT, OT and SLP all work closely together.3. With a staff of 12 therapists, new grads certainly have an opportunity to work with other OTs to learn and mentor from instead of graduating and being on their own.4. 100% pediatric population birth to 21 (mostly 3 12). Everyone treats in the schools in the morning and returns to the Center for medical services. We offer state-of-the-art facility and equipment. Treat a wide array of diagnosis from CP, sensory, autism, etc.We are currently recruiting a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team-oriented group of therapists. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with the pediatric population....but we will offer mentorship and training for the right candidate. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and to be recognized as the center that best serves all children with special needs. Our vision is that we improve their quality of life by providing services without regard for ability to pay. We offer many methods to achieving success with our kids, to include SUIT Therapy (one of only 3 certified SUIT Therapy programs in the state!)About the Opportunity: This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of 13 dedicated PTs, OTs and SLPs that pride themselves in providing quality pediatric therapy in both medical and educational settings. Our facility has state-of-the-art equipment and we have a prominent reputation in the community. This opportunity will consist of working a 40-hr work week, seeing approximately 10 patients per day. Age of the clients are between Birth and 21 years old. Therapy will be provided in our clinic and local schools. Some travel between 2-3 schools is involved.....but never more than @ 20 miles total. Five hours a week is dedicated to completion of required paperwork. Job Details:1. Screen and evaluate children using standardized test, clinical observations and caregiver inquiries.2. Establish & implement individualized treatment program including childs history, strength, weaknesses therapeutic interventions & goals.3. Reassess childs performance an ongoing basis and adjust treatment program accordingly.4. Consult and educate caregivers to enhance the implementation of the treatment program.5. Participate as an active member within a multi-disciplinary team.6. Provide accurate and timely documentation (daily, monthly & annual evaluation & discharged summary). 7.
