Fujikura supplies key optical and electronic components to medical device companies globally and is best known in the medical market for it's pressure sensors, flexible printed circuits, micro-coaxial cables and high resolution image fibers.The summer intern will research potential applications which involve minimally invasive light based treatments that would benefit from precise targeting of light power.Over a period of 2 to 3 months the intern responsibilities include to: Identify applications suitable for use with 's concept device Identify existing treatment methods Identify existing companies and devices associated with the treatment. Identify MD's or researchers who are active in this area. Identify patents and research in the area of treatment Help evaluate, prioritize and recommend specific applications which have the best fit for 's target device. Help outline a plan to move the concept device from idea to market release.
