Subcontract Administrator - (US-MD-Columbia - 21046) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities and Requirements : Subcontract Administrator IIIThe candidate will be responsible for overall acquisition and administration of subcontract requirements, including those of a complex technical nature and/or large dollar potential. Will also be responsible for administration of subcontracting efforts. Participate with management in continuous improvement activities that ensure compliance with Government and corporate policies and procedures. May be responsible for such varied contractual arrangements as subcontract agreements, teaming agreements, and proprietary information exchange agreements. Act as liaison between the subcontractor and the program office and maintains continual internal and external reviews to ensure that all issues are resolved in accordance with company policies and procedures, customer requirements, and management direction. Will provide subcontractual guidance and maintain control over the subcontractor performance and execution of the scope of work. Identify potential subcontractual problems or conflicts, analyzing impact/ramifications and resolving issues. Prepare bid packages, participate in subcontract negotiations, serve as primary interface with subcontractors, and manage the analysis and evaluation of proposals. Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate managerial level regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, termination, and closeout. Work closely with Senior Subcontract Administrators and the company's Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) to identify and establish subcontract relationships to meet contract goals for small business participation.The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related discipline and 8 years of experience. In lieu of formal education, 16 years of directly related work experience is required. Experience in a CPSR environment is a plus. Should have and apply a detailed knowledge of subcontract concepts, practices, procedures and regulation, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Must demonstrate the ability to evaluate contractual issues/problems and to develop alternative solutions. Detailed knowledge and application of price/cost analysis and cost principles is needed.
