Responsibilities and Requirements : The Market Development Engineer position supports the business management of ADI's portfolio of high speed amplifiers and linear products. The main objective of this position is to increase market share and maximize revenue growth of released products through distribution/channel engagement, development of customer support/selling tools, portfolio positioning, strategic partnership, pricing strategies, and Market Development Engineer role is focused on activities that sustain or extend ADI's technology and market leadership position in the high speed linear product category Working closely with sales, applications engineering, and channel partners, the market development engineer will be responsible for developing and executing on a portfolio management positioning strategy. The portfolio will primarily consist of amplifier building block components that represent core technologies for ADI's high speed signal path vertical market strategies. As such, the market development engineer will coordinate business development activities with market segment teams to grow opportunity creation and conversion rates.The Market Development Engineer responsibilities include:Identify and execute activities leading to enhanced design win of existing products and ADI's mindshare relative to competition. This can include, but is not limited to, customer visits, sales training, distribution channel engagement, web/selling tool development, pricing, and engagement.Product Management of a portfolio of released high speed amplifier and linear components, including pricing strategies, forecasting and tactical support.Market analysis - continually monitor ADI's market share and position relative to competition. Identify and report on portfolio gaps and new product opportunities.
