Responsibilities : Account Executive Sports en Espanol Sports en Espanol is searching for an Account Executive. This position is responsible for generating ad sales revenue for Sports en Espanol in both the upfront and scatter marketplace. Also, seeks out new business prospects, as well as building and maintaining existing business. There will also be extensive work with non-linear assets such as on-line and wireless. This position is based in Miami, Florida. : Generates revenue by effectively selling television time to advertising agencies and business clients. Seeks new business opportunities by presenting network opportunities and plans to potential clients. Assures customer satisfaction and increases potential for future business by maintaining communications and relationships and servicing client requests and by ensuring proper delivery on media commitments. Develops integrated Sales proposals that utilize On-line, Wireless and Print assets with television sponsorships. Provides timely reports in order to keep the SVP, Ad Sales and other senior management personnel informed regarding current business, future activity and competitive information.

Requirements :3-5 years of advertising sales experience, including experience TV Ad Sales, Media planning and or client service. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Good negotiation skills and the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations in both one-on-one and group situations are essential. Knowledge of Nielsen rating data methodologies and a basic familiarity with the overall television production process is required. Good organization skills and attention to detail are necessary. A demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid client relationships is critical. knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
