Responsibilities : Working under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, this position will coordinate the conduct of clinical drug/device/quality of life studies from pre-study planning through successful completion of all patient visits and documentation in accordance with Health System policies and procedures, FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice guidelines. The Clinical Research Specialist is directly involved in patient care through screening, educating, enrolling, monitoring, and supporting research subjects.Serves as a liaison with personnel at physician offices and clinical sites and with the Principal Investigator.

Requirements :A knowledge and ability, education, training, experience, credential,)Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with at least 1 year experience;Appropriate licensure required.Clinical Research experience preferred. Certification as Clinical Research Professional (ARCP or SOCRA) desired.Must obtain within 30 months of hire.Knowledge of clinical research data collection and clinical data report preparation.Working knowledge of ICH-Good Clinical Practices and FDA clinical research requirements.Knowledge of community and hospital based resources.Ability to effectively and efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously with precision and adhere to study requirementsAbility to both collaborate effectively as a team member, and work well with peers, principal investigators, and supervisor.Ability to be self-directed in independent work tasks.
