Responsibilities : Provides a superior customer experience by working with branch associates and loan underwriters to process all types of consumer loans in an accurate and timely manner.-Process consumer loan application files while following compliance, loan policies, laws and regulatory requirements. -Ensure consumer loan applications are complete and are in compliance with regulatory violations. -Verify and obtain required documentation such as payoffs, title work, insurance and etc. -Coordinate loan closings with branch associates. -Review declined application files before requesting adverse action notices. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the banks loan records.-Submit accurate information to Compliance, Credit Administration, and Records Management. -Develop, maintain and resolve items on the document tracking system. -Protect customer documentation for privacy and confidentiality and display discretion in discussing customer information. -Compile monthly reports. Maintain and seek efficiencies in all processes.-Follow established processes and procedures to maintain effective controls. -Be proactive in process evaluation and improvement. -Establish and maintain written procedures as requested. Be a leader in the Consumer Loan Underwriting Department.-Communicate openly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with teammates, bank associates and customers. -orporate the banks Critical Success Indicators in daily decisions. -Assist Manager with other duties, as requested.
