Responsibilities : The position of Community Liaison serves as the primary liaison to prospective patients and families and designated health care providers including physicians, health care facilities, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, insurance case management professionals, attorneys and community groups. The liaison is actively involved in program development by one-on-one contact with referral sources. The liaison conducts an on-site assessment to identify the needs of the prospective patient and family. He/she develops community awareness of our services and facilities. He/she uses consultative selling techniques to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts to assure retention of the referral source business.This position requires past experience and knowledge of the long term care/skilled nursing industry, specifically in the Columbus area. Your nursing assessment skills are also highly desired. Requirements :RN, LPN, LSW, or professional with 2 years health care sales experienceAt least 2 years of marketing experience in health careEstablished referral contacts/community relationshipsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
