Responsibilities : The New Product Introduction (Packaging) Purchase Program Manager is responsible for Purchase functional interface with an assigned project within a defined work breakdown structure. You must be able to lead and influence cross-functional teams with members distributed globally; manage conflict, deal with ambiguity, resolve customer problems and leading from the front and manage and grow relationships with internal customers. The position will:Perform robust program management activity across Purchasing to deliver Cost, Quality, Delivery and Responsiveness targets in accordance with the agreed customer requirements using standard tools and methods.Integrate globally, with other functions as required by the project.Assign projects for deployment of Risk Management process using standard tools & processes.Identify key risks and directing corrective action to address project risks.Ensure that resultant Purchase actions are closed out in a timely manner.Maintain relationships with various stakeholders including internal business managers and resource owners.Secure Purchase's commitment to the project business plan and responsible for ensuring that resource is provisioned within Purchase.Ensure that, at each stage of the project, the customer requirements are understood and incorporated into Purchase strategy.

Requirements :Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or technical field.3 years experience in procurement or engineering in a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment.Understanding of supplier terms and conditions, contract negotiations, logistics operations and expediting. Knowledge of basic principles of gas compression, fluid dynamics, mechanical and electrical theory.Working knowledge of heavy compressors utilized by the oil and gas industry.Ability to read and comprehend component drawings and technical specifications.
