Responsibilities : The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance documentation is organized and consistently updated in real time according to changes in programs. The candidate will also be responsible for various reporting functions as directed by the Associate Manager. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Uploading documentation and maintenance of Comptrollers' Portal containing time sensitive documents. Notifying responsible Program Business Accounting Managers of expired items (e.g. Business partners' insurance coverage's) and obtaining valid replacements. Execution of Electronic funds and wire transfers. Accounting Journal entries. Reconciliations and research of outstanding Accounting items. Creating & updating Visio flowcharts to reflect our business partners' workflows and controls. Perform special projects as assigned. Copying and filing as needed.

Requirements :Associate Degree (Accounting/Finance preferred) and/or 1-3 years of insurance/reinsurance accounting experience. Advanced PC skills in Visio, strong Excel a must, Microsoft Word (knowledge of Microsoft Access, WINS and People Soft a plus) . Must be organized, extremely detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take direction.
