Responsibilities and Requirements : Spring 2010 Legal InternshipThe candidate will research emerging international case law on economic and social rights issues, particularly the right to health and women's economic and social rights. Assist staff in researching, compiling and summarizing cases on economic, social and cultural rights from around the world. Update cases on the organization-Net case law database; update the adjudication and women's organization resource pages; other web updates as needed. Assist staff in coordinating local and international events relating to economic, social and cultural rights, if needed. Assist staff with coordination of member requests and exchange of information.Candidate must be a second or third year law student at an accredited law school. Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills required. Fluency in Spanish, French, Portuguese or Arabic, highly desirable.
